Cattedrale Notre-Dame de Paris (Francia)
Restauro
The Roman Catholic church of Notre-Dame de Paris is one of the most important landmarks in France. It was built between 1163 and 1345 in the historic center of Paris, located on the right bank of the Seine. During a major fire in April 2019, the cathedral suffered severe damage to the interior and exterior. A faithful reconstruction of the World Heritage Site was commissioned in July of the same year.

- Descrizione breve
- The major fire inside the cathedral has taken its toll on the natural stone masonry. Soot and released pollutants settled on and in the walls and affected them. A solvent-free, film-binding peel-off paste was applied for cleaning, which binds the contaminants. The particles are removed from the masonry by peeling off the formed layer.
